Niki's review of Empire of Storms

SJM's writing style and story telling really improved with each book she wrote. I first read her ACoTaR series and of course loved it (ACoMaF being my favorite) and then I wasn't really impressed with first two books of ToG and wanted to stop reading at book #2. But I am so, so, so, so happy I decided to continue as ever since book #3 things are just getting better and better.

My favorite are probably still Aelin and Rowan, but I really like all other characters as well. In this book #5 I was actually getting sad for the first time whenever the book switched to different PoV as I would get attached to current PoV so much - even with Locran and Elide, especially with Manon and Dorian, and of course with Aedion and Lyssandra.
